Three submissions are critiqued per meeting. Submissions are 5,000 words or less. Meetings take between 1.5 and 2 hours. Critiques are prepared before the meeting.
How much experience do I need?
No experience is required, just a commitment to practicing the craft of storytelling and a willingness to help create a safe place to share creative output.
What about the Austin Creative Fiction Writers Group?
We are a sister group to this group, and operate under a similar structure and philosophy.
What about poetry and screenplays?
The focus of this group is on creative fiction. If you are writing poetry or screenplays, you will find better critique and feedback in a group that focuses on them.
